OK, I got tired being on the road tonight. Decided I wanted to be home. Sudden decision, but I was just done. In the morning, I headed back south.
Stopped at the border, and was questioned as usual. Border guy motioned me over to get checked out. I get out, go in, hand them my passport and wait for them to finish checking out the car.
I'm sitting there waiting and enjoying the people watching, when this guy comes in. Border patrol asks if he had anything to declare today. Guy says yes... "I have two Caribou." I'm thinking I didn't hear him right and pay closer attention. Guy says that the hunting was good and it looks like the caribou steaks will be tasty. Needless to say, I want some, but think it'll be rude to go ask for a chunk of meat.
Patrol finishes with my car, hands me my keys and I head back home.
I made it to Philly the first day and back to Atlanta the next.
Guess I was ready to sleep in my own bed.
