This is basically how I got there.
I'm getting ready to enter the highway and I see a person holding a "Hungry please help" sign. I hold out an apple and he says he can't eat it because he has no teeth and holds his lips apart so I can see a very bad case of meth mouth (DO NOT click if you're squeamish).
It's a very nice drive in the country. Wheat fields everywhere. It turns out that Washington state is the 6th largest producer of wheat in the country.
Here are some pics:
Also, I caught a crop duster in the act... No, it wasn't like Cary Grant in North by Northwest
Got to Lind, went by the store to find out the details and got something to eat. Excellent value - 3 boneless chicken breasts for $1.99. I could only eat 1...

Random thoughts:
- No livestock update today. All even.
- Saw a dog in the middle of the street. Didn't bark or chase. Looked like he was out for a jog.
- Roads are pretty bad here compared to home. Snow takes no prisoners, I guess
- Me and Hotwire have a deal... I don't talk to them, they don't listen to me
- The hotel is a block from Sacred Heart children's hospital. Many families from the surrounding area are staying here while/after surgery.
