6/14/09 - Portland Oregon

So, today I pack up and decide to head to Oregon to complete the list. I have now been to all 48 contiguous states - Woo Hoo! I didn't feel like dillydallying so I went straight thru. Here's today's route: I decide to make tonight's pit stop in Portland. Home of the Beau Monde College of hair design (Go Hairdressers! I didn't see a mascot for them... Maybe the Splitenz?) Here are some pics from the trip down. I love these things. Hood River - Gorgeous Scenic drive though part of Mt. Hood National Forest. There were some waterfalls I passed, but the battery on the camera had died... Scored a great deal on a hotel today... Crowne Plaza for $50. So the score now is Noris 4, HW 1. Random thoughts:
