So, today we went down to Nicosia to get some new bling for yours truly. Visited a few shops, found a chain I liked and some other little shiny things.
Had a bit of lagmadjoun for the first time in years (A better description and pictures can be found here). This was the real thing - cooked in a wood-fired oven with lemon, and parsley. It was as usual, very tasty.
After that we came home, had lunch and enjoyed the afternoon siesta. The trail yesterday is still kicking my butt. The two hour nap helped.
Dinner with Androulla, Kostakis, Pollykapros, his wife and mom-in-law.
Random thoughts:
- I knew lemons grew on trees - here's proof. Why do they cost so much?
